IBM is continuously developing new features on IBM COnnections cloud solutions. Every month many features are dropped to the customer.
This month my highlights are on the enablement of Audio-Video on IBM Connections Meetings cloud , the enablement of automatic update of Sametime Desktop and the enanchements of the file viewer in Verse .lo
IBM is working hard on cloud solutions and i think the resoult are great!

- Multi-person audio and video for meetings
Recently, IBM made available new multi-party audio and video capabilities in meetings designed to inspire and streamline teamwork and innovation. This new functionality is available from either a browser or a mobile device, and supports continuous video presence for a more interactive and social experience. To foster more effective extranet collaboration, meeting guests can also use audio and video in meetings. - Enable automatic updates to your Sametime desktop client
Get automatic software updates to your desktop client and never miss a new feature. If you use the Sametime desktop client instead of browser-based Chat, you can now have your desktop client automatically updated. - Invite people to your meeting from the meeting
With one click, you can now collaborate faster by inviting people to your meeting from the meeting room. - New welcome screen for meetings
The new welcome screen for meeting hosts has been visually enhanced. There is a new option for hosts to configure the meeting as Lecture style. Lecture style can improve performance for meetings with many participants. Participant names do not appear in the list. In lecture style, everyone is muted by default if using the meeting's audio conference. - Know when the privacy list is enabled in Chat
Privacy lists allow you to set who can see you when you're online. Up until now, you couldn't see whether your privacy list was active or not. There was no indication that the people you see online in a contact list were able to see you or not. - Microsoft Outlook users: upload large files to the cloud
Last month we introduced how you can bring the power of social mail to your mail client. share files, communicate with your teams, and engage with your communities from the Connections sidebar for Microsoft Outlook. Now you can upload large files (up to 2GB) to Files. - Save files directly to Connections Files from MS Office
Now you can conveniently save your Microsoft Office files directly to Connections Files. Save personal or community files. - Enhanced viewer for presentations in IBM Docs
Now you can get higher fidelity views of presentations in IBM Docs with a new, enhanced viewer. - Share files with Communities from your Mac
Create files on your Mac and share directly with your team. You can share with Communities (or individuals) and give everyone reader or editor access. - Real-time alerts help you focus on items that need your attention
Stay up to date with things that require your attention and response. The new notification center allows you to customize alerts. - View more file types in Verse
Now you can instantly view Microsoft Office and OpenOffice documents and PDFs in Verse. View documents, spreadsheets and presentations in Microsoft Office binary formats like .ppt, .doc, OpenOffice formats like .odt, .ods, as well as Microsoft Office XML based formats like .docx or .xlsx. - Get the whole picture when you click file details
Whether you're a Verse user or Connections Cloud user, you can now see the file along with its details when you click About This File. - Find content faster: files details pages now show in search results
When you search for a file, you can get a convenient and quick view of a file right from search results. - Verse on Apple iPad
IBM Verse for Apple is now available for iPad on iOS 8.1 or higher from the Apple App Store. - Act on Verse emails that are in a thread
Now you can act on individual emails that are members of a thread. You have the same options available to you in threaded messages as you have for messages in your Inbox. Simply hover over the date of an threaded message and select Trash, Remove from Inbox, or Mark as Needs Action. - Share a Verse email to Blogs
Got an email that you want to share to a Connections Cloud blog? Quickly add the contents of your email to a blog. No need to copy and paste from one window to another. Requires a subscription to IBM Connections Cloud S1. - Quickly spot emails from you in threaded messages
You can quickly see which messages are from you when viewing a list of threaded messages. The new SENT tag replaces "me" in earlier releases. - Follow anyone from their business card
In Verse, you no longer have to open a person's profile to start following them. Now follow a person to keep current with their activities and status updates, right from their business card. If you want to see what someone in your organization is blogging about, follow them to view their updates. - New Verse URL
You may notice the URL in the browser address bar for Verse is changing to end with "verse". No action is needed, there are redirectors in place so current bookmarks continue to work. - Traveler for Android name change
IBM® Traveler for Android has a new name: IBM Verse for Android. This change is apparent when you update your Android client from Google Play. - Administration: enhancements to the Mail Onboarding Manager
Now onboard Notes® users without support from a third party. The tool transfers Notes mail files from on-premises to the cloud, and then provisions users with SmartCloud Notes mail and other Notes subscriptions. - Administration: Arabic and Hebrew available for administrators
New languages are available. SmartCloud Notes administrators can now set their preferred language to Arabic or Hebrew.
